Hi, I’m Sarah; a creative soul, a mother, and a specialised counsellor helping people from all walks of life who have lived through highly stressful and traumatic events.
No one should have to carry the weight of trauma with them, pretending they’re ok when they’re not. And they most certainly shouldn’t have to do it alone.
Together, we will shed the heavy load of trauma and PTSD symptoms so you can feel lighter, freer, and happier, ready to follow a path to new beginnings.
I have been a qualified therapist for nearly 10 years, specialising in trauma-specific techniques such as EMDR and Body Psychotherapy.
Over that time, I have developed a unique empathetic approach rooted in neuroscience and compassion to help clients overcome chronic anxiety, PTSD and Complex PTSD.
This process is called the RESET Method and is a tool my clients use for long-lasting change that can be implemented quickly for transformative improvement.
RESET is designed to reset your mind and, in turn, reset your life. It stands for:
After travelling the world and living in different parts of the UK, I have now settled in Nantwich, Cheshire, where I have a cosy, calming wooden pod at the bottom of my garden. Here, clients meet with me for one-to-one in-person sessions, knowing they’re in a safe and peaceful environment.
For clients who aren’t local or feel more comfortable at home, I also offer online sessions.
Opening up to a stranger can feel quite daunting, which is why I provide a free assessment before we begin. This allows us to get to know each other a little and helps you decide if I’m the right fit for your journey.
In the meantime, here are some things you might like to know about me…
I’m a mum of two and running my business around my children is a priority, because finding a good life balance is important for my overall wellbeing, especially when helping others with theirs. •
My background is in graphic design, which has led me to run various businesses in the last two decades, and it’s why creativity is woven into my therapy methods.•
Humour heals the heart, and laughter is an essential part of my life and something I try to gently incorporate into my sessions. While we will tackle serious, sensitive and heavy subjects, I still encourage moments of lightness when they’re needed.
And finally, I’m passionate about ensuring my clients receive support that is tailored specifically to them. No two people are the same, and neither are my sessions.
I care deeply about each and every client I work with and it’s important to me that your sessions address your needs, so you leave feeling empowered.
