Empowered Trauma Therapy Lion

What are

Calm Steps?

An easy to understand, step‑by‑step plan that tunes into your physical responses (somatic reactions), so when stress hits, you know what to do first, second, and third to get back to steady. We’ll create a stress to calm ladder for you to know how to move up your steps to calm, safe and connected.

Is This For You?

✅ You feel stuck, on edge, or overwhelmed, even when life is “fine”.

You want practical nervous‑system tools you’ll actually use day‑to‑day.

You like the idea of creative, hands‑on learning (no art skills needed!).

You want a gentle space that’s trauma‑informed, boundaried and kind.

“We’ll go at your pace. No forced sharing. Camera‑off is OK. Safety first, always.” Sarah

Sarah Jones

About Me

I’m Sarah Jones, a counsellor and EMDR therapist specialising in trauma, nervous‑system regulation, and somatic work, and before counselling I trained and worked as a graphic designer.

I bring design thinking and visual, hands‑on creativity into therapy and training so complex ideas become simple, practical and beautiful.

I created the RESET method to help people move from survival mode to steady, sustainable living. I’m known for blending neuroscience with warmth and creativity, at a pace that respects your body.

FAQ's

Do I need to be ‘creative’?
Nope. If you can draw a stick person and choose a colour, you’re good. This is about felt sense, not fine art. Thanks to Sarah’s background in graphic design, every exercise is easy, visual and choice‑based.

Will it be triggering?
We keep things gentle and choice‑based. You can opt out of anything, take breaks, keep camera off, or use the chat only. Boundaries and consent are built in.

Is there a replay?
No full replay (to protect group privacy). You’ll get the workbook and the step plan you created to refer back to.

I’m a therapist — can I come?
Absolutely. This is personal work. If you want CPD to use these tools with clients, check out Sarah’s Relational Somatic Practitioner Course.

Accessibility?
Small group on Zoom, live captions, frequent breaks. Please tell us what helps you — we’ll do our best.

Think outside the box

"Sarah's knowledge shone throughout the training, her warmth

and compassion gave the training an extra depth you don't normally have at these things."
